Ramsey II Project

This project involved creating a master plan for the front, side and rear yards of a renovated colonial home. A new driveway shifted the main entrance from front to side to accommodate a newly constructed garage. New, elegant, curved steps and stone walls flanking the side entrance lent the importance needed to become the home’s main access. An “uplift” for the old front entrance gave “cottage charm” and incorporated a classic brick circular landing, a boxwood hedge and numerous varieties of perennials and native plants to fill the expansive planting beds. In the rear yard, a new children’s play ground with climbing area reused boulders unearthed during the excavation of the site, providing a delightful new living/playing space for the children as well as adults.
