A master plan was created for this tear-down/rebuild of a traditional home. In keeping with the owner’s commitment to the Early American vernacular and to ultra-high quality for every aspect of the construction, beautiful materials such as aged brick with bluestone slabs were selected for the back patio and pool deck. Native plants were included along with traditional species such as boxwood and hydrangea to give the home a simple but warm feel. The new driveway configuration, new cabana for an existing pool and woodland, newly-planted for screening from neighbor’s windows, helped to surround the residence with a very usable, very appealing environment.
